Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation is the largest conference for science communication in the German-speaking area. The conference is organised annually by Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), the joint organisation of the German science for science communication. Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation 2023 took place in Bielefeld from 15th to 17th November. The main theme was "Contentious, but Fair – Towards a New Culture of Debate".
Together with the IZKT of the University of Stuttgart, IRIS was present with a stand and lots of information material. The public engagement activities of IRIS were also presented as part of an expert talk.
