October 27, 2025

Cancelled

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg will host the conference “KI bewegt uns. Ein Tag für kritische Perspektiven und gemeinsames Gestalten” at the Innovationszentrum Westspitze in Tübingen.

The event marks the conclusion of the project “Wie geht’s der Katze in der KIste?”. It brings together researchers, practitioners, and the public to reflect on artificial intelligence's social and ethical dimensions. The program includes talks, exhibitions, interactive sessions, and a closing panel discussion.

Prof. Maria Wirzberger, Professor for Teaching and Learning with Intelligent Systems at the University of Stuttgart and Speaker for IRIS, will participate in the panel discussion at 16:10 alongside experts from academia and civil society. Together, they will discuss how AI systems shape society, where their limits lie, and how critical, inclusive perspectives can guide their future development.

The event offers space for dialogue, collective reflection, and creative approaches to shaping AI responsibly — emphasizing that technology should serve people, not the other way around.

  • Location: Innovationszentrum Westspitze, Tübingen
  • Date: Saturday, 29 November 2025, 10:30–18:30
  • Panel discussion with: Monika Ilves, Maria Wirzberger, Jacqueline Bellon, and Katharina Klappheck
